Prayer of the mosquito
My Lord,
I have heard
Blood is thicker than water;
Yet I find thin blood
This isn’t tasty as hitherto
It’s now full of viruses
My parents and other relatives
Got killed instantly drinking it.
The colour of it drastically changed
Now it dark red than brown before.
I urge you to create new human beings
With pure blood as the stone man had.
I can’t find solace in animals too
Hardly I find any animal here.
Could you please repeat the story of creation
Lest I will be no more for ever and ever,
Amen.
